Flyleaf's second studio album, "Memento Mori," was released on November 10, 2009. The album features 12 tracks and was produced by Howard Benson. The title "Memento Mori" translates to "remember death" in Latin and reflects the album's themes of mortality and the fleeting nature of life. The album's lead single, "Again," reached No. 2 on the U.S. Billboard Mainstream Rock chart. The album received generally positive reviews from critics and was certified Gold in the United States in 2013. "Memento Mori" was the last album to feature lead singer Lacey Sturm before her departure from the band in 2012.
